Yesterday was Halloween and the kids were so excited to go trick-or-treating! We had been the day before at Mom's work and once the kids realized they were getting candy they were all for Halloween!
Since it was on a Saturday this year we decided to go see the family earlier in the day and then head over to some friends of ours in the evening. Our second stop of the day was at Grandma Dolly's. The kids were excited to show off their costumes and see what treats Grandma had in store for them.

Next, we went to Dad and Janie's. Along the way we stopped and picked up some pizza for lunch. We were starving! The kids struck a pose with Papa Pete.

We put on our Star Wars costumes and Lucas was in heaven! He thought it was so cool that we were all dressed up in Star Wars costumes!
Lexie was still a little sleepy when we decided to head over to our friends house. She was a trooper though and put on her Chewbacca costume.

Lexie was so funny trick-or-treating! She loved it! She kept saying "I coming" and "I fast" and when she would get up to the door she would say "candy!". Sometimes she would even help the people pass out the candy. She was so stinkin cute people let her do whatever she wanted. The Chewbacca costume was a huge hit and everyone kept commenting on how adorable she was (very true!).
We had fun trick or treating but finally Lucas was tired and wanted to head back to the party (Lexie was not happy about this and could have kept going all night!). It was a fun day and Lucas is already talking about next year! He told me today he is going to be a cracker : ).
