I can't believe my baby is starting all day school today! I knew this day was coming but it still breaks my heart a little bit. Lucas, however, could not be more excited!
Last night we went to his school's open house where we met his teacher, toured his classroom and I snapped this picture of him by his locker. He is really excited because he is sharing his locker with his good friend Michael. His new teacher is very nice and we are looking forward to a great year!
This morning I snapped some pictures of him before we left for school.
But, he was eager to get on his way so I finally put the camera away.
We parked about a block from school and walked the rest of the way which he thought was really cool. I walked him into school and he was off (with me chasing after him begging for one last hug good-bye!).I hope he has a great year! He is a great kid and we are really proud of him!
