Elf Antics

Last year we got an Elf on the Shelf for Christmas but didn't get him out.  This year when we got the Christmas decorations out there he was and the kids were excited to see what he was all about.
We got out the book that came with him
and Lucas read us his story.  Then the kids decided to name him Jack.
On the first morning he knocked down the stockings and hung the kids underwear in their place.  The kids thought this was hilarious!
The next day we found him playing Lucas' video games in the play room.
After breakfast Lucas read him a story.
The next morning we found him in the bathroom sliding into a pool of marshmallows.
The next morning we woke up to find that he had toilet papered the kids' bedrooms.

He also wrote the kids a note letting them know they need to have better behavior if they want to stay off the naughty list!
This morning he said the kids did better yesterday so he brought them the supplies to create a magical candy cane garden.  The kids are loving him and can't wait to see where he will appear each morning.
