Summer, So Far

After school got out we were busy wrapping up baseball.

 This was Lexie's first year playing and she did great!

 Lucas had a great season and improved a ton!  He was so excited when he'd get a hit!

It was so fun watching him play this season!

 We took Mom out to lunch on her birthday.

 Grandma Dolly got a new dog, Pepper.

 We took Dad golfing for Father's Day.  The course was pretty quiet so Lucas got to golf too.  He did a great job!

 The kids both got to drive the cart and loved it (Dad and I didn't love it quite as much - crazy drivers!).

 We took  the Cub Scouts on an overnight camp trip.

 She was in two parades on the 4th of July.

 We decided to go down to the park to watch the fireworks this year.  Everyone loved them!

 We've spent plenty of time at the swimming pool.  Lexie loves jumping off the diving board.

 But, we made it down to the falls.

 Lexie had another parade and she really got into throwing the candy!

 We decided it was time to update Lucas' room.  The kids helped with the painting.

 It turned out great and he loves it!

 Travis took the kids up to Canada with his friend Dean and the kids loved the pool at Dean's parents' house.

 While they were in Canada I went to Florida with my friends Erika and Suzy.  It was so fun!

 We had the best time, loved every minute!!

 My cousin Gena has two girls and KK is only 3 months older than Lexie.  They were instant BFFs!

 My kids LOVE the lake so we were excited to spend time up there with our cousins!

 There were some giant fish swimming around the dock so they caught one.

 Lucas wanted a crazy ride but none of the other kids were up for it so he went by himself.

 One kid on the tube was a little light so he flipped.

 We had our house painted this summer.  It turned out great!

 We went back up to the lake for a couple of days - heaven!

So far it has been a great summer!  It is flying by and we are trying to make the most of every day before it is time to head back to school!
