Lucas has been very interested in building blocks lately or as he says "let's build robots". He likes to have me get it started and then adds to it (usually until it is so high it falls over).
At preschool this week they are working on fine motor skills and manipulation of objects using beads and pattern cards. On Monday when we picked him up he had created a string of beads which he calls a magic wand. It is now hanging in my car and before we go anywhere we swing it around and say "magic wand take me home" or wherever we are going. Today he was working with these beads and wanted me to take his picture with them since we couldn't bring them home.
Today when I picked Lucas up at school Lexie was home with Travis and the first thing Lucas said was "where is my big brother" (okay, he is a little confused about the big brother, little sister concept but still so cute!). He loves to play with Lexie, is very protective of her and for the most part is very nice to her (we will try to forget the biting incident at Costco this weekend).
Such a sweetheart!
