This afternoon we went over to Grandma Sharpie's and built gingerbread houses. Building gingerbread houses is always an adventure in our family because we can never remember the best way to put them together. We finally got a house built for Lucas and let him go to town covering it with candy. He thought this was great fun once he figured out what we were doing.

Once he got all his candy on then he started knocking it off with the gummy bears!

Lexie was content to sit and play with her toys. She did try cheerios for the first time and also had a few bites of Grandma's roll.
Tonight was the tree lighting ceremony so we headed downtown to watch. Unfortunately we were running late and missed the actual lighting of the tree but it didn't matter to Lucas. He was excited just to see the tree and he also got to see Santa and tour the fire truck (not sure which he was more excited about).
