Fair

Last weekend we went to the fair and as always, had a great time! We went Thursday night for dinner (love greasy fair food!) and to check things out. We went through the barns and looked at the animals.

Lexie spotted a pig.
And got a good look! She also enjoyed the cows. Lucas' favorite was the chickens.

The next night, we went with Papa Pete and Grandma Janie. We went early and it was hot! This didn't bother the kids though - they were ready to go!

Lucas was excited to ride the rides and tried the helicopters first. Unfortunately Lexie was not tall enough to ride much.

But, she did try out the cars with Grandma.
After a while we got hungry and stopped for a dinner break.

Then, it was right back to the rides!

Although she was dying to get on the rides she enjoyed watching too.

Lucas loved the roller coaster.

Grandpa did a great job of keeping Lexie entertained!

"Let me in!"

Lucas could have stayed all night riding!

But, after a long night Lexie was getting sleepy. So, it was time to go home.
