On Monday, Dad turned 60! To surprise him Brian and Scott flew in and we planned a party for him. Of course, the biggest surprise was that Brian and Scott flew in! We weren't sure the best way to pull off the surprise since the party was at night and we were golfing beforehand so we decided breakfast was the best bet.
Janie manage to stall him long enough to allow us to arrive at the restaurant first and he was definitely surprised to see us all sitting there! Brian wanted to hide behind a coat rack and jump out at him but since he was turning 60 I didn't think that was the best idea :).

After breakfast, we hit the golf course. It was a little chilly but we still had a good time.

After golf, we headed over to Dad's for his party. This is the cake I made for him.

On Monday we got to golf again before Scott flew out. It was a beautiful fall day and we had a great time!

After golf Grandma joined us for Dad's birthday dinner.
