Lucas is really into building these days. 
Every morning when we arrive at preschool he heads straight for the blocks.

He and his friend Cooper create massive structures every day and he is always excited to show them off!
Today he wanted to build at home too so he drew up his instructions and set to work. He wanted to build with paper but I told him we didn't have enough. He wanted to build with wood but I told him he'd have to wait for Daddy for that. So, we settled on pillows. Here he is sleeping in the bedroom portion.

Tonight we went to a Dr. Seuss birthday celebration. The kids made hats and we listened to Dr. Seuss stories. Lucas was having a great time but little miss was not very cooperative so we had to leave early. Sometimes it's hard having a little sister!
Next, we met Daddy for dinner. Little girl+big ice cream cone=huge mess(including one ruined work shirt for Daddy)!
