okay, maybe 12 on Tuesday! Here are some pictures from our road trip this weekend.
While I was packing for the trip Lucas and Lexie were downstairs watching a show. Then Lucas read "There is a Monster at the End of This Book" to her - so cute!
Our first stop was Chuck E. Cheese. The kids were so excited! They have seen the commercials for Chuck E. Cheese on Nickelodeon but have never been there. They had a ball!
Lucas found a Sponge Bob bowling game he really liked!
Lexie Lou loved the games! All the kids were running around spending their tokens as fast as they could!
There was one machine that took your picture and then printed it out.
After Chuck E. Cheese we stopped by DQ for a treat.
By the end of the night the boys were tuckered out!
Lexie had fun building a house in between the chair and table and filling it full of everything she could find!
The next day we headed out and drove to Nana and Papa Monis' house. Unfortunately we arrived to find Nana in the hospital after a mild heart attack! Luckily she was on the mend and that night, while we awaited her return in the morning, we took the kids out to pizza and more arcade games! Lexie thought this horse was fun to ride.
Seth and Travis had fun playing air hockey. The next day Nana came home and we were all happy to see her recovering well. The kids spent most of Sunday playing video games and that night we went swimming at the pool. After we got home and the kids had gone to bed Lucas woke up sick. He spent a good part of the night throwing up and woke up with a fever. Poor little buddy! Monday morning we drove home. It was quite a weekend!
Today my two sick kiddos got some much needed rest (Lexie caught the cold we've had and spent the weekend with a bad runny nose and cough).
