Lucas' favorite color is green so he has been very excited about St. Patrick's Day! He has been sick all week but today he is feeling better and dressed all in green!
I decided to make the kids a special St. Patrick's Day lunch. 
The mint chocolate chip "moothies" were a big hit!
Lucas' homework this week was to build a leprechaun trap. He was so excited and couldn't wait to get started! We went to Michaels and bought all the supplies he would need. On Monday he painted his tub rainbow colors because leprechauns love rainbows!
He drew the "instructions" for his leprechaun trap. He knew exactly how he wanted it to work!
He had to answer some questions to turn in with his trap.
The finished product. Inside the bucket is a spoon on a plate where we put rainbow jello to lure in the leprechaun. When he picks up the spoon - snap! the bucket comes down trapping him. Lucas did a great job on his leprechaun trap and Daddy and I had fun helping him!
