What We've Been Up To

It would be an understatement to say we've been busy since school started! But, here is a glimpse of what is happening in the Mooney family . . .

Lots of reading!
Lots of playing!

The weekend after Lucas started school we took one more trip up to the river to float. It was a great day and the kids had a ball playing in the water.

Lexie Lou had fun finding rocks.

Lucas had fun wading in the water.

Lexie and Daddy found some little bitty fish to look at.

Mom came with us and we all had a good time floating.

It was a fun way to spend time together as a family.

Getting a flat tire on the new car was not as much fun! Travis fixed the flat like a champ though while Mom and I supervised!

We ventured into school lunches. My kiddos are picky so I have to keep things interesting!

Lexie Lou has spent a lot of time playing with her "grirls".

I volunteered to do a class yearbook in Lucas' class which has been fun and a little more time consuming than I thought it would be. I love being in his classroom though and so far the books are turning out great! One girl in his class even told me I was cool this week so that was nice!

Lexie and I got a pedicure with the girls.

I went and had lunch with Lucas at school one day - very fun!

Daddy and Lucas have been experimenting!

We've been having some rough mornings getting Lexie to school. She loves preschool once she's there but she does not like to say goodbye to Mama! This has led to many tears from both of us!

Lexie is doing gymnastics once a week and loving it!

She is also doing dance once a week. There are a couple of girls from her preschool in her class and she likes seeing her friends there.

Lots of playing!

Lucas joined Cub Scouts and I signed up to be Den leader (crazy!). He is having a great time! Next week he starts karate.

Travis was recently promoted and will be doing some travelling in the next couple of months.

So, needless to say life around here is crazy! But, we are healthy, busy and happy so life is good!
