Last weekend was the fair which is something we look forward to every year! Last year we didn't get to ride any rides because Lucas had a broken arm so he especially couldn't wait! We started out our fair experience with a field trip with Lexie's preschool class.

Lexie was excited to be there with her friends and loved looking at the animals!
She especially liked the baby chicks!
And the soft bunnies.
Daddy got to come too so that was a nice treat!
Later that day we met Dad and Janie for dinner. Lexie Lou helped Papa get an elephant ear.
It was quickly devoured - yum!!
While the kids walked through the animal barn with Grandma and Grandpa I went and checked out Mom's prize winning orchid.
Then it was off to the rides. This was one of the kids' favorites! They went through this maze many, many times!
Lucas was a great big brother and helped his sister down the slide the first time.
He also helped her walk to the rides and show her bracelet to the fair workers.
Daddy took Lexie down the big slide.
Lucas loves this one!
Next, it was my turn to take Lexie. She wasn't tall enough to go by herself so we took turns riding down with her.
Lucas and I went on a twirling ride. He thought it was hilarious to make it spin and spin!
Lexie loved the boat ride.
She rode on the Ferris Wheel with Grandma and Grandpa, chatting away the whole time I'm sure!
