This morning we woke up to a call that school was delayed for two hours - hooray we got to sleep in! Then we got a call saying school was cancelled - even better! We got a lot of snow last night which I was excited about until I remembered that meant more shovelling.
I dragged Lucas out with me and he had fun playing while I shovelled. Poor little Lexie is still sick so she stayed inside on the couch.
We tried to make a little sled hill off our wall but it didn't work that well.
It snowed all day! When Travis came home at lunch he couldn't even tell I had shovelled. So, this afternoon I went out to shovel some more but instead we did some sledding. This inner tube worked perfectly and Lucas just sled down our street. It was perfect - fun but not too big of a walk to get back up the hill.
We were outside for a couple of hours and he got a couple of his neighbor buddies to join us.
It started to get dark and cold so we came inside. It was a fun day and school is already cancelled tomorrow so hopefully we can get Lexie out tomorrow!
