Lucas went back and forth on what kind of party he wanted this year. He is really into the video game Skylanders so at first he wanted a Skylanders party. But, when I told him his friends wouldn't enjoy coming over and watching him play video games he decided on space! He loves space right now so it was fun to plan this party for him.
I ordered a astronaut picture on-line and the pictures turned out really cute! This is Astronaut Lucas.

We created several games for the kids to play. This one was a punch board with a prize inside.
This one was an alien pin knockdown.
For this one we had Nerf guns for the kids to shoot the robot aliens with.
Lucas also wanted everyone to pick their favorite planet and color their own name tag.

Before the party started I snapped a picture of Lucas and Grandma Sharpie.
And one of the two of us. He is so big! Hard to believe my baby is 7!
Grandma Dolly came early to help set up so we got a nice picture with her too.

After we played the games we stopped for a snack break. Lucas really liked the cake I made him.
Next, the kids had fun on a scavenger hunt.
Lucas got a lot of really nice gifts.
After gifts we got out the pinata. The kids had fun whacking away at it but it was tough to crack so we eventually had to bust it open!
Lexie taking a turn. After the pinata we sent the kids out to the playground to wait for their parents. We ended up having 20 kids and there was a lot of energy in that room! Everyone seemed to have fun though!
After everyone left Lexie opened her gifts from Nana Lori and Papa Mooney. She loved her new outfit and wanted to put it on right away!
