Spring Break 2012 - Part 1

This week the kids were on Spring Break and unfortunately Travis was travelling for work all week. So, I knew I had to plan some activities or the three of us would be going crazy at home by ourselves! We had nice weather at the start of the week so I decided to take the kids out of town for the day. We met my friend Rachael and her kids at Sky High, an indoor trampoline place.
We arrived right when it opened and the kids were not happy to wait in line.Once we got in they had a great time trying out the trampolines!Lucas liked jumping off the side walls!
He did not like it when the girls came into his square though!
In one area they had a pit full of foam blocks the kids could jump into. Lucas loved it!
Lexie thought it was fun too! After an hour the kids were ready to go have lunch.
We drove to a parking garage and Lexie thought it was pretty cool she could touch the ceiling!
Waiting patiently for everyone to get out of the car!
The Easter bunny was in the mall and the kids got bunny ears and then it was off to lunch at Red Robin.
Goofballs.
After lunch we went to a nearby park that has a carousel.
Lexie wanted to sit by her friend Regan so they found a bench seat that looked like a dragon.
Lucas had fun riding his horse.
Lexie had fun riding with her friend.
After the carousel we walked around the park a bit.
The kids found this goat sculpture that had a vacuum to suck up leaves.
They loved it!
They could have stayed here feeding the goat all day!
Lexie kept saying she was feeding it broccoli.
Next we moved on to a big wagon slide.
The kids had a great time sliding down the slide!
They went again and again!
Lexie by the big wagon wheel.
The kids and Regan.
Cutie pie kiddos!
Climbing on some blocks.King of the blocks!
Jumping across.
On the car ride up Lucas was telling me how much he likes watching water so when I saw a gondola in the park that went over a waterfall I thought he would enjoy it.
Lexie looking out the window.
Lucas took this picture of Lexie and I.
The kids though the gondola was going to be more like a ride and didn't care for how slow it went but we had fun anyway.
After a little shopping I took the kids to Krispy Kreme for a donut.
They loved watching the donuts go by!
Yum!
Sprinkles, yummy! We had a fun and busy day!
