On Tuesday, Lexie had swim lessons and she couldn't wait to get there and jump in the water.
Lucas and I swam while Lexie was in lessons and worked on his swimming belt loop for Cub Scouts.
For the rest of the day we hung out at home enjoying the beautiful sunshine!
On Wednesday morning Lexie had a rehearsal for her school's musical and Lucas had his friend Chris over for a play date. After the rehearsal I took the kids to McDonald's. The beautiful weather of Tuesday turned into snow, hail and rain on Wednesday!
For dinner we picked up pizza and Lexie was excited to make her own.
Cheese and pineapple - yum!
Tasting the ingredients : )
After dinner the kids watched Hop from the box of goodies they received in the mail from Papa Mooney and Nana Lori.
On Thursday I got my hair done while the kids hung out with Papa Pete and Grandma Janie. After my haircut I drove over to meet them for lunch.
We had a yummy lunch and a nice visit.
After lunch we stopped at the store to pick up some eggs. Lexie was especially excited to dye Easter eggs!
Lucas was busy playing video games but he dragged himself away to help us dye eggs!
Ready to go!
Dropping an egg into the yellow cup.
Most of Lucas' eggs were dyed green!
The kids had fun and decided to use their hands instead of the wire egg retriever that came with the set (there hands are still dyed!)
Lexie tried all of the colors.
Lucas tried mixing colors.
One to go before getting back to Star Wars Legos!

Mixing green and orange makes a cool egg!
The eggs looked great when they were all done.
The kids love to sit with me and pose for the camera (not so much!)
But they do it anyway : )
After we finished with the eggs Lexie changed into her new dress so we could go get pictures with the Easter bunny. Of course, when you have a pretty dress on you have to show off your leaps!
So cute!
The kids colored pictures for a coloring contest at the mall.
Lexie was happy to see hers hung up in the mall!
After pictures it was off to Grandma Sharpie's for the night. She kept the kids while I went to my book club.
