Disney, Day 2

On our first official day in Disney we got up early to head into the park.
We made a quick stop at the bell desk to pick up Wayne's scooter.  The kids saw this Mickey Mouse statue and wanted me to take their picture by it.
There is a Lego store in downtown Disney that the kids loved.  It had really cool statues built out of Legos - this one was Beauty and the Beast.

 Toy Story

 Sleeping Beauty
Disneyland was all decorated for Halloween.
Our first stop inside the park - a quick picture.
And one of the whole family.
Right when we walked in the park we ran into Chip and Dale.
They gave Lexie a big hug!
And they gave Lucas a pat on the head : )
Lexie did a little dance with them.

Then it was off to find some rides!
The kids and I went on the Astro Orbiter first because it was the first ride we came to and there was no line!
Seth and Lucas in their orbiters.

Next we walked over to the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blaster game.  This was one of the kids' favorites last time we were here.
3d glasses on and ready to ride!
Lexie stopped to take a picture by some plants : )
While we were in Tomorrowland we also rode Star Tours and Space Mountain and then everyone was hungry so we made our way into Frontierland for some Mickey Mouse pancakes.

The boys wanted to ride Indiana Jones but Lexie was too short for it so she and I did the jungle cruise.  She liked it!
She found a rock to climb on while we waited for the boys to get off their ride.
She spotted some pretty flowers to stand by before we went on to ride Pirates of the Caribbean, the Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain (their favorite!), Winnie the Pooh and Splash Mountain again!  After a busy morning we decided to head back to the hotel for a swim/rest before grabbing a bite to eat at the Mexican restaurant in the shopping district.
After eating Travis, Wayne the kids and I went into California Adventure.
Our first stop was Soarin' Over California.  Lucas and I really enjoyed this ride last time we were here but Lexie was too short for it.  She really liked it this time!  We also got to ride the Little Mermaid which wasn't open last time we were here.
Lexie riding on King Triton's carousel.

On our last trip we missed Toy Story Mania so we were excited to try it this time around.  It was awesome - definitely one of our favorites!

Mickey's Fun Wheel.  The kids talked us into getting on one of the swinging cars - not my favorite!!
We shut the park down and stopped at the Lego store on our way back to the hotel. Lexie loved this Lego doll and her little dog!
 Lucas liked the Hulk!
It didn't take little Lexie long before she was fast asleep!  It was a fun and busy day!
