The beginning of our spring break overlaps with the end of Travis' cousins spring break so we took a couple of days off and drove to McCall to spend a long weekend.
All loaded up and ready to go!
Last year we took the kids skiing at Brundage and they loved it so we wanted to go again this year. McCall had a lot of snow so we decided to head up to the hill Friday morning.
Last year we got an hour long lesson for the kids and it went well so we did it again this year.
They both did great!
Last year the instructor tied their tips together but this year they didn't seem to need it.

Lucas did great! He probably would have benefited from a private lesson and maybe could have gone up to a harder hill. He still had fun though!
Lexie did great too except she kept wanting to sit back. I think she was a little more scared this year than she was last year.
It was fun watching her come down the hill!
After a fun day of skiing the kids were excited to go to the pool with their cousins.
Pool time is one of their favorite things about McCall.
Another favorite is the delicious food!
Lucas requested steak and his wish was granted!

While we were all together we celebrated Lucas, Lexie and Travis' birthdays.

Saturday morning we went and painted pottery. I made a Christmas ornament.
Lexie loved this activity and made a cup for Daddy and a new hair brush.
Lucas thought it was fun for about five minutes but he did a good job on his cup.
Grandma Cheri was a great help!

After a fun weekend it was time to head home but first we took some pictures.

On our way home we stopped at the rest stop by the river.
The kids liked getting out and watching the water go by.
Of course, Lexie never met a rock she didn't want to pose on!
