We spent a great week in July on the Oregon Coast with Wayne and Lori. We rented a house and it was nice and relaxing!
On our first night we went to dinner at Mo's.
The next morning we got up and went down to the beach. It's a little chilly on the coast so Travis got bundled up :)

Nana Lori helped her dig and build a big mound of sand.
After a fun day at the beach we walked back to the house which was just a block away.
The next morning we got up and drove to see some tide pools.

Papa couldn't make it down to the tide pools so Lexie brought her treasures up to show him. She and Nana collected a bunch of shells to make a necklace.

Next, we went to Newport to the aquarium. Lexie climbed a rock and pretended to be a seal.

The next day it warmed up and was beautiful so we went back down to the beach.

They played and played and played and had a great time!
That night we decided to make a fire on the beach. Travis drove the car down and we thought he was stuck but he managed to get out of the sand!
It was super windy so we dug a hole for the fire.
They got the wood all situated and got the fire lit but it blew out.
Meanwhile the kids played with their water toys.
Finally, they got it lit!
It was a beautiful night and we had a beautiful sunset.

We had s'mores, sat around the fire and then went back to the house to warm up!
Lexie taught Nana her dance routine and they did a performance for us. They were great!

On our last day we drove up the coast and ventured off to see a light house. It was a beautiful day!
