Happy Birthday Lucas!!

Lucas' birthday celebration started a day early.
I took him out of school and treated him to a steak lunch at his favorite restaurant.
He requested apple pie for his class treats so I made mini apple pies to share.
It was fun watching the kids sing to him.
Taking the first bite - yum!
On the morning of his birthday, he woke up to 10 balloons filled with dollar bills.
 Birthday boy!
He had a great time popping his balloons.

 All of his bills.
He requested pancakes made with real flour (no whole wheat!) so that is what he got.

His birthday party was at the Laser Tag arena.  The party room had video games which was a big hit!
 Getting ready to play tag.

 Comparing scores.

It was nice to have Papa and Nana at the party!
Air hockey was a big hit!
It's hard to believe he is in the double digits!

Lucas had a lot of nice friends at his party and they all had a great time!

 Opening gifts with friends.

He got a lot of nice gifts.

After the party we invited Mom and Grandma over for steak dinner.
 Love this kid!
It's hard to believe Lucas is 10!  Time really flies!  He is a great kid and we are so proud of him!
