For spring break we set out on an epic road trip spanning 5 states!
Grandma Dolly and Mom came along with us for the adventure!
We loaded up the cars and set out on Easter Sunday.
"Me and my family got in our red car."
There is a rest stop next to a river in Idaho that Lexie loves so that was our first stop.
"Then we saw a blue beautiful river."
Lucas loved getting out of the car for a while and going down by the river!

Lexie kept a travel journal throughout the trip and she took it down by the river to get her creative juices flowing!

"Then it got foggy. I couldn't see."
"Then we stopped to eat."
"We got really close of the river."
We briefly lost Mom and Grandma going through Boise so we stopped at another rest stop waiting for them to get to us. The kids loved running around.
"It started getting dark."
Our final destination on the first day was Twin Falls. We checked in, went and got a bite to eat, let the kids swim and then went to sleep for the night.
"Then I went to the hotel."
"And I went to the pool."
"I got tired and slept."
