On day 4 we left Flagstaff and drove into the Grand Canyon.
What a beautiful sight!
It was a beautiful, clear day but it was pretty chilly!
We looked around for awhile and took lots of pictures.
Eventually we made our way over to the Bright Angel Trail and decided to hike down.
Lucas was really excited to hike into the Grand Canyon.
Lexie, not so much! We didn't get very far and she decided she wanted to turn around and head back up. So, she and I went back up while everyone else went down.
When we got back to the top she had me take some pictures of her. This one is at the donkey pen.

We went over to the lodge to get a snack and wait for everyone else. Mom turned back too and she met us there.
Travis, Grandma Dolly and Lucas kept going and hiked 1.5 miles down.
They were awesome!
Lucas loves Monopoly and was thrilled when he found a National Parks edition! After lunch we left the Grand Canyon and made our way to Las Vegas.
We got in around early evening and there was a long line at the check-in. The kids entertained themselves with games!

Once we were checked in we went to the buffet for dinner.
After dinner, Travis, the kids and I went down to the strip to see the lights. The kids loved Excalibur.

It was a long day and everyone was tired so we went back to the hotel to get some sleep before another fun-filled day!
