Yesterday I took Lucas to the dentist. He was not excited to go at all! He kept saying "let's go home now Mama" but I told him it was no big deal and we would be out of there in a flash. Turns out it was no big deal and we were out of there in a flash! The hygienist led him back and took x-rays of his teeth and he thought it was pretty cool to watch them come up on the screen.
Then she led him to the chair and showed him this tool. I don't know what the name of it is but he calls it the "sucker" and he loved it! She brushed and flossed his teeth and then squirted some water in his mouth and let him suck it out.
The dentist scraped his teeth (which he did not enjoy but was a great sport about) and then counted his teeth. Then she let him rinse and suck again.
