Jungle Park

Today when we woke up it was raining so needless to say all that snow we got yesterday is now a big, soggy mess. We needed to get out of the house (to avoid going stir crazy) so I packed the kids up and took them to an indoor play area in one of the nearby malls Lucas likes to call the "jungle park". He was very excited to go and didn't even complain when I told him he had to comb his hair before we left the house (he usually screams when I do this).

I brought Lexie a blanket and some toys to play with and she was completely content. There were quite a few other kids at the park today and a few who were quite taken with her

which she loved.

This is a canoe in the park and Lucas loves to play in it. A couple of times Lexie and I hopped in and we all went on a canoeing adventure.

Sliding down the bridge. Now that I look at these pictures I'm not sure why Lucas calls it the jungle park, more like a forest park. I guess it must be the big tree in the middle.
