Our Break

We had a busy (and long) break. Lucas was out of preschool two weeks before Christmas and then we had family visiting through New Years. We enjoyed spending time with everyone and were sad to see them return home. So, after everyone was gone we still had two weeks until Lucas started school again. Here is a glimpse of what we've been doing . . . Watching Star Wars and building spaceships.

Lexie got sick and needed lots of snuggle time.

Shoveling snow. This took hours and hours and then it all melted the next day.

Many, many light saber fights.

Building forts with the Lincoln logs.

Lexie learned to pull herself into a sitting position.

Playing Star Wars Trivial Pursuit and eating M&Ms.

Cousins came to visit and there was a gargantuan light saber fight.

Watching movies with the cousins. So fun having them here!

Papa Mooney and Nana Lori came to celebrate a belated Christmas.

Lucas got sick with a really high fever (at least 103 every day for a week).

Reading books with Daddy. Specifically, Lucas has been very into The Lorax by Dr. Seuss. So, that is how we have been spending our break. I for one am looking forward to Lucas' return to school :)
