Today we decided to get a little creative and make some paints out of cornstarch. It is a simple recipe - 1/4 c. cornstarch + 1/4 c. water + food coloring = sidewalk paint.
Lucas got to mix the colors and then I gave them each a paintbrush and let them have at it.
Lucas was very deliberate about what he was painting. He created a lot of circles.
He would paint one circle, rinse off his brush, get a new color and then paint another circle.
Lexie, on the other hand, just dipped and smeared (surprise, surprise!).
She was having a great time surrounding herself in paint.
Or, was that covering herself in paint!
The brush soon disappeared and it was all hands for this little stinker!
