Lucas started preschool today and he was really excited! A few weeks ago we went shopping and he got to pick out his first day of school outfit so he was all set this morning when it was time to get dressed. Last year I made him a checklist of things he needed to do before going to preschool and he got that out again and checked every thing off as we got ready.
It was finally time to go so I attempted to take his first day of school picture. Easier said than done with this kiddo!
Finally snuck a smile out of him :)
When we got to his classroom he headed straight for the easel and drew a picture. 
Then he went back to the kitchen area and started taking orders over the phone.
Then he gave one of his teachers a menu and took her order. He was having a great time so Lexie and I said good-bye.
After school was over we picked up Daddy and headed to lunch at the restaurant of his choice.
And then he sweet talked us into ice cream!
All in all a pretty good first day of school!
