When will this stinky weather end??? Lucas asks me every morning "when is summer gonna get here Mama?" I wish I knew!
In the meantime, we did some baking this morning. The kids love to help in the kitchen so we decided to whip up some yummy chocolate chip banana muffins and some peanut butter and chocolate chip cookie bars.
This afternoon while Lexie was napping Lucas and I made Wall-E out of recycled materials. Lucas got the idea out of his Disney magazine and has been excited to make it. So, today was the day! First we gathered our materials (which was a little tricky since we just went to recycling yesterday!) and then Lucas started painting the body.
Here he is showing off the finished product. He was pretty proud of us and couldn't wait to fill Wall-E's belly full of treasures!
