California Adventure

Last week my big brother graduated with his PhD so we all flew down to California to celebrate with him. It was so much fun!
Scott arrived on Wednesday and Mom and I flew in on Thursday. Mom didn't know Scott was coming so it was a nice surprise. After they picked us up from the airport we ate some lunch and then headed off to the golf course. Brian found us a fun little course to play right next to the ocean.
It was a really nice course but it happened to be super windy which made it a little chilly. Brian and Scott had to play for the wind which was really funny.
The next morning we had breakfast with Dad and Janie to celebrate Father's day.
A quick picture while running errands : )
In the afternoon we all hit the beach. We had a great time playing beach baseball.

Brian even took a swim. It was much too cold for the rest of us!

He's got some mad Frisbee skills!
A nice group picture before we went back to the house to get ready for graduation.

Scott and Dad waiting for the ceremony to start. It was at a beautiful location on campus overlooking the ocean. It was nice being by the water because it was pretty hot but there was a nice breeze.

On Saturday we drove into San Francisco to explore the city. We had a great time but it was super hot! We hitched a ride on the trolley car which is always fun!
Saturday night we took a boat cruise around the San Francisco bay.

The four of us overlooking San Francisco. This cruise was really fun and in the morning we sailed out to Alcatraz. That was really fun as well. And then our weekend was over. We really enjoyed spending the time together and it was sad to say good-bye.
