Track Meet

Today we had a track meet and the kids did great! They were a little reluctant about the whole thing since they didn't quite know what to expect and we had to get up super early but they were troopers! At first we thought it would just be Lucas participating but once we got there they said Lexie could join in the fun.

This picture was taken from across the track but I had to add it in because it is so funny. It looks like Daddy is giving her a serious pep talk - eye of the tiger style!

Lucas did a great job in his race as well. Of course, he would have done better if he wasn't trash talking to the neighbor on the way down the track!

After a long day Lexie Lou was done! Luckily this was our last event and we were able to head home. Both the kids were asleep practically before we left the parking lot!
