8, it seems so old. Hard to believe my little man is 8 already! Lucas is a smart, funny, thoughtful 8 year old. It's going to take me a while to get used to this!
We started the day off with birthday balloons - 8 balloons, 8 dollars! Joy!!
Next cinnamon rolls with birthday sprinkles and a candle.
Each day in Lucas' class there is a president and on his birthday he got to be the president. Part of being president is bringing in a snack to share so we sent in these. They were a big hit!
In the afternoon I brought pizza and cupcakes into his class to celebrate his birthday.
The kids had a great time playing games.
After school we drove home and found the game truck waiting for us - so exciting!
After a quick snack the boys went out and learned the rules. The main rule was to have fun and that was not a problem for the boys! They loved it!
Ready to play Skylanders Giants.
The game truck has quite a set up and the boys loved it!
You could walk right in front of them and it wouldn't even phase them - as long as you didn't block their view! They were out there for two hours and wished it was more!
Lucas requested an AT-AT cake for his birthday and it turned out great!
Ready for candles.
He's getting so old it's hard to blow out all the candles : )
After cake it was time to open presents.
He got a lot of nice gifts!
He has a nice group of friends and it was fun to have them over to help celebrate Lucas' birthday!
Love this little guy!
Lucas is truly a joy and we love him more each day! Happy Birthday Buddy!
