Spring Break in McCall

The beginning of our spring break was the end of our Oregon family's spring break so we joined them in McCall for a long weekend.  The kids were excited to see their cousins and couldn't wait to get in the pool. 

The next day we ventured down town and had lunch at a local pizza place where Lucas won a frog in the grabbity grab game.  He was so excited and wanted to call everyone he knows to tell them he won!

 After lunch Travis took the kids to walk on the frozen lake. 

They thought it was a lot of fun.  It was a beautiful day!

 The kids had to have a short time out so Travis could give them a lecture on not walking in the street : )

 It was nice to spend a weekend together as a family.

The kids were happy to be able to spend some time with Grandma Cheri.

 During our walk along the lake the kids had snowball fights and Daddy dipped Lexie in the snow.

 When we got home the kids dyed Easter eggs.

 In the morning the kids were excited to discover that the Easter bunny found them in McCall.

 The Easter bunny got a little tricky and his eggs where the kids couldn't reach!

 They filled their baskets!

 The Easter bunny left them baskets full of goodies.

Lexie started on her sticker book right away!

 After breakfast we made our way up to Brundage to ski.

 Ready to hit the slopes (Lucas was a little nervous)!

 Lexie had to stop and eat some snow!

 We decided it would be a good idea to get the kids a lesson for their first time skiing.

 They both needed to figure out how to balance on their skis.

 They both got the hang of it really quickly.

 In no time at all they were flying down the hill.

The instructor told the kids to pretend they were holding a popcorn bowl with their thumbs up and Lexie nailed it!

 Lucas and Daddy enjoyed skiing together.

We had a fun day and it was beautiful!

 Cheri and Nana brought chairs and sat at the bottom of the bunny hill to watch everyone skiing.

 We decided skiing is a fun family activity!

Before we left McCall we had breakfast at the pancake house.  It was a great weekend!
