This year we spent the weekend before Christmas with Travis' family. Fortunately, the weather was great so travelling went more smoothly this year than in years past.
Lexie had fun playing cards with Grandma and Grandpa.
A local nursery had reindeer along with Santa and Mrs. Claus so we took the kids down to see them. Lexie was very excited and was telling us all about the reindeer.

We finally tore them away from the reindeer and went inside to have a picture taken with Santa.
Mason wanted no part of this!!
But these three posed for a picture and let Santa know what they wanted for Christmas.

And, Lucas did too.
We went back to the house and had dinner and then it was finally time to open the presents!

Lexie got a Belle doll and was in heaven. I love this age because she was happy to open her present and then play with it. She couldn't have cared less if she had more presents. She was totally content with her beautiful doll saying "I love it!" So cute.

Lucas had a great time playing with it : ). We got lots of nice gifts and enjoyed spending the weekend with everyone!
