Today we went on our annual Christmas tree hunt. It was a beautiful day, but a little bit chilly. The kids were excited to get out and find the perfect tree. Lucas, especially.

We hiked around for a while until we found a great tree. Lucas was not impressed with it however and was very upset when we cut it down. He wanted a gigantic tree - surprise, surprise!
Little Miss was happy though. She thought it was great fun to brush the snow off the tree branches. It was a little hard walking through the snow but Miss Independent didn't want much help. After slipping a few times she finally let me carry her around for a while.
While we waited for Daddy to load up the tree I snapped a group picture. The wind was blowing and Lucas hurt his knee so he wasn't very happy. Overall, it was a successful outing. Stay tuned for tree trimming pictures.
